My flag represents Cook County’s role in healthcare. Green is a symbol used to promote life which is exactly what the reason for health care is, to save people’s lives. This is also the reason for the cross, representing first aid. The green also represents the environment and Cook County’s help in the Preservation of the Environment and Forest Preserves. The blue represents justice and Cook County’s provision of the justice system.
