An esteemed group of diverse community leaders were integral in the selection of the final flag redesigns for consideration by the Cook County Board of Commissioners. When selecting Flag Advisory Panel members for the Flag redesign contest, Flag Advisory Panel Co-Chairs, Commissioner Scott Britton, and then-Secretary to the Board Matt DeLeon, sought experts with backgrounds in art, graphic design, history, and Cook County government.
