Flow of Roots

My flag represents the growth of Cook County. I used a tree as a double meaning. The first meaning is to represent growth of Cook County and the second meaning is to represent the wildlife and parks of Cook County. The skyline of Chicago represents the rise of our great cities in Cook County and the Chicagoland area. The water in the back represents Lake Michigan and other great national bodies of water in the County. I chose colors green and blue. Green is to go with the tree and the meaning of keeping our city and wildlife clean. Blue is to go with the water it represents.
