Boxelder leaf – represents the many forest preserves in the area. The color green – represent harmony with the people and nature. Point curves – each point (blue n black) represents the six main regions. Black – while viewed negatively it can be used to represent / convey elegance and care. Blue – means many things here one is the rivers that flow into the great lakes, as well as trust, wisdom, joy, and freedom. The color grey – means neutral leanings, due to the states nature of being a swing state / the state/county isn’t just one side its more mixed.
