Colors: Blue, silver/white, and yellow
Meanings/Symbolism: Geographically, the blue stands for Lake Michigan. The silver/white is the Bean, or Cloud Gate. The yellow stands for the sun shining over Cook County. The 6 points on the star stand for the 6 regions of Cook County.
Idealistically, the blue stands for justice and/or freedom. The star also stands for justice, especially Restorative Justice, in Cook County; and that the yellow in the star represents hope.
