The blue buildings show the amazing architecture of Chicago, the river in front of the buildings is the Michigan River, the people inside the buildings represent the ethnical/racial diversity of the population, the subway inside the buildings is a example of transportation in Cook County, the tree and bush inside the buildings represent the many nature parks in Cook County, the airplane inside the buildings illustrates the popularity of air travel in Cook County, and the black gavel represents the jury, in which Cook County is most known for.
